Baking Bread

So 'they' closed the plant and sent us home due to bad weather which turns out to have been mostly gentle rain...oh well, nothing like starting the weekend early and getting paid without taking time off!! I caught up on some dvr'd shows and then felt like a lay-a-bout and started the dishes and laundry. The next step was to wash the dogs, but i came up with the brilliant idea of baking a loaf of bread for dinner (not with dinner, but for dinner) as a form of procrastination. Plenty of flour, yeast...no problem...that is until i didn't read my recipe right and used two packs of yeast and not just one...no problem...i'll just double the recipe. Hmmmm...lots of little mishaps...and now it's rising so to double in size.

What to do next...(not wash the dogs)...go start the blog you've told yourself again and again that you would. Okay, so here it is. It's not pretty yet. There'll be no pictures of the baking process/chaos this time, but i hope to in the future.
